As they grow older many patients complain of wrinkling, loose skin, age spots and enlarged veins on the back of the hand.

Loose skin is difficult to treat but sometimes local areas can be excised. Small wrinkles become more common and are especially common in light complected people. These lines are made worse by sunlight. Treatment may involve resurfacing or fillers, like Juvederm.
In the hand the fingers may become more knobbly and the joints more obvious. There is little that can be done to help this but pigment spots are treated with light peels or bleaching creams
Large veins can sometimes be excised but the loss of fat that makes them look mire noticeable is difficult to treat.
Signs of aging are not limited to the face and hands, they are seen throughout the body. Most are made worse by sunlight southern areas, like New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Florida and California.
