Where is the scar going to be?

All surgery requires a scar and all scars take time to soften and fade. You will not see the final appearance of your scar for a year after surgery. It is usually red and raised for the first month or two after your operation. The scar for varies with the type of surgery.

For breast augmentation there are four options for the incision. The most commonly used incision is either under the breast or around the areola.  Sometimes an incision is used under the armpit, or in the umbilicus.
