| Blepharoplasty is not usually a painful operation but all surgery is associated with some pain and discomfort. For this reason your doctor will probably give you a prescription for pain killers. Remember you can often get good pain relief with simple over the counter medicines like Tylenol and Advil. Do not take aspirin because this can increase the risks of bleeding.By the end of the first week the pain is usually much less. Severe pain in the first day or so after surgery can be a sign of serious problems and you should call your doctor immediately. |
