Dr. Hudson received his medical degree from the Westminster Medical School of London University (now called Imperial College, London).
Dr. Hudson has a unique practice that combines both cosmetic plastic surgery and psychotherapy.
He has an MA in Mental Health Counseling. and a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dr. Hudson has been a physician since 1972. He completed his MA in Mental Health Counseling in 2009. His practicum-internship was completed at Samaritan Counseling in Albuquerque, under the supervision of Sarah Brennan PhD.
He is a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians (LRCP) and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS).
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (Dipl. ABPS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. (FACS)
Dr. Hudson is fully licensed in the United States (State of New Mexico #76-1995) and in Europe (UK, GMC Full Registration #1545298).
His special interest is the emotional and ethical aspects of cosmetic surgery.
In plastic surgery he specializes in revision, re-do and corrective cosmetic plastic surgery. In psychotherapy he specializes in the care of physicians and their marriages.
Patrick Hudson is married to dressage rider and trainer Ulla Hudson. They have four children. He lives on a small farm in the mountains, east of Albuquerque and south of Santa Fe, NM.
