Plastic surgery support, Woman empathizes with Brown's plight
Winnipegger Carrie Feniuk says only those who have lost a lot of weight understand why it's so important to remove the unsightly leftover skin from their bodies -- no matter what the cost. "You put all this work and effort into it and you look at yourself and you think about going back to the way you looked before, because at least then it was tight," said Feniuk, who recently lost more than 100 pounds. "You lose all this weight and you can't even wear a bathing suit? ... It's very sad, actually." Feniuk returned home from the hospital yesterday after undergoing surgery to remove sections of excess skin from her stomach and thighs Monday. In the last year, the 25-year-old shed 130 pounds on Weight Watchers.
