Latifah Gets Breast Reduction
Queen Latifah has gone under the knife for breast reduction surgery, according to published reports. The rapper/actress flaunted her double-D breasts for the final time at the Academy Awards in March. But, now the “Chicago” actress has opted to go to a C-cup for reasons out of her control, her rep stated. "Queen Latifah did have breast reduction surgery. It was mainly for her health," spokeswoman Amanda Silverman told Knight Ridder. "Queen works with a trainer and does a lot of kickboxing, and working out was difficult for her. She was suffering from back pain and felt this was the best solution. A year ago, you'd never have found Kim Furlow vamping it up onstage like a hooker. In fact, Furlow, 39, wouldn't even wear body-skimming clothes. At 5 feet 5 inches and 200 pounds, the working mother and part-time actress was so embarrassed by her "disproportionate figure" (bigger on bottom) that she'd filled her wardrobe with black, baggy pants and black blouses that resembled caftans.Looking in the mirror routinely punctured her self-esteem.
