Patrick Hudson MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Albuquerque, NM Telephone: 505-242-0070 office hours 9.15 am-4.30 pm.
Albuquerque plastic surgeon discusses the different locations used for doing a facelift.

Where is a facelift done?

A facelift is usually done as an outpatient in an operating room in a day surgery unit or hospital. Dr. Hudson usually uses a day surgery unit because he feels this provides more safety features like additional back up facilities that cannot be provided in most offices.

This means you do not have to stay in a hospital. Usually surgery is done in the early morning. You can be home by early afternoon. Ask questions and make certain that the location for your surgery is safe.
