How can I know if surgery is right for me?

Your doctor's job is to tell you what surgery can do for you and to help you understand the risks. Only you can decide whether the operation is right for you. If your doctor thinks it will help you achieve your aim surgery may be scheduled. Although your doctor cannot give you a guarantee, surgery is not recommended unless they believe you will like the result. Still, the decision remains a personal one and you must make it.
