Can I get the same results without surgery?

Your doctor will only do surgery when no good alternative exists. Your need may fall into this category. When you were examined in the office, your doctor assessed the possibility of other treatments. The advantages and disadvantages of surgery are balanced in your case. If your doctor thinks the advantages of surgery outweigh the disadvantages surgery is recommended. If you have concerns or you are not clear about the operation, call your doctor before the operation. Make certain your mind is clear long before the day of surgery. You should go into the operation with a clear and confident attitude.
